ROOF WINDOW BLINDS

Diffusion manufacture blinds for roof windows using fabrics from our extensive roller blind range. We supply blinds for leading roof window brands such as Velux, Fakro, Keylite and Roto. For total blackout, choose blackout fabric which comes with a choice of either aluminium or white side rails

MOTORISATION

We can supply battery-operated roller or Vision blinds to fit 32mm or 40mm diameter slotted tubes – an ideal solution for retrofit scenarios and other applications where hard wiring is unfeasible. The blinds are supplied with an affordable DV motor featuring a built in Micro USB rechargeable battery.

SPECIALIST PERFORMANCE

Diffusion can manufacture blinds using specialist performance fabrics – flame retardant, anti-bacterial and solar reflective.

For public buildings, offices, hospitals and schools we have a wide range of flame retardant fabrics to choose from.

These comply with European Standards EN 13773 Class 1 and BS5867: Part 2: 1980/flammability requirements for fabrics and curtains.

For hospitals, some of our ranges are available with specially treated anti-bacterial fabrics. We are a preferred supplier to the NHS and we have extensive experience of supplying blinds which meet strict health and safety standards, such as surgical wards. Treatments such as Ultrafresh or Biocote, which are proven to reduce bacterial colonisation.

For large windows, such as offices or conservatories, you need solar reflective blinds. The blind fabric is coated with silver or foil backing that provides an insulating effect in winter and cools in the summer.

If you don’t want to see the foil backing some sunscreen fabrics have an integrated screening effect with solar reflective benefits
